    Dr. Saeed is a futurist, thought leader, author and a public keynote speaker. He has been into many positions: the founder and former Director General of the Emirates ID Authority, a former member of the scientific advisory committee of the UAE Space Agency, and a former Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs on information technology.

    Currently, He is the director of the Center for Futures Studies at the University of Dubai, president of the Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) in the UAE, and a visiting lecturer in Responsible AI in the course: AI in the cloud and Edge Implementation at Oxford University.  He is a member of the Global Future Council of the World Economic Forum (WEF) on the future of the Metaverse, and he is on industrial advisory boards of several universities in the UAE.

    He co-authored the book Digital Nation: How the UAE is building a future based on tech innovation. He has written several articles and reports that were published at Harvard Business Review Arabia and Dubai Policy Review Journal.

    Dr. Saeed has been invited to speak at prestigious universities and international organizations including University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, the WEF, the UN,  and the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).

    Mohammad Hassan has been the Executive Director of the Statistics and Data Science Sector at Federal Competitiveness and Statistic Center since 2015. His duties include coordination between public and private sector to achieve the national data and statistic strategy to support decision and policy-making. In addition to his membership in the United Nations Committee of Experts on Big Data and Data Science for Official Statistics.

    Prior to that, he held several leadership positions. He worked between 2012 and 2015 as Director of Corporate Communication and External Affairs Department position in the Emirates Competitiveness Council in the Minister of State Office. In addition, he served as Public Sector Manager at Microsoft from 2007 to 2010, focusing on business development and increasing the efficiency of government services via digitalization utilizing cutting-edge technology and worldwide best practices. His banking expertise spans 11 years, during which he worked in financial services and information technology.

    He holds a Master degree in Strategy and Security from National Defense College and Master Degree in International Business Law from University of Paris II. Thus, I worked hard in parallel and earned my HD (Higher Diploma) degree at CNET (computer Network Engineering Tech) from the HCT (Higher College of Technology ), as well as my Bachelor degree in computer Networking. In 2009, I applied for SU (Syracuse University) where I completed my master’s degree in Telecommunication Network Management. In 2018 I earned my PHD Project Management from the British University in Dubai.

    More than 20+ Year experience in project management and Information Technology region. A member of UAE Leaders Digital Hub since, and part of British University future Program council. Also, an active member of ADU (Abu Dhabi University) continuing Education Program since 2020.

    I attended more than 100+ events, workshops, and conferences internally and externally as a speakers or part of the panel discussion and most of them were about Network & Cyber Security and telecommunication as well as Digital Transformation with Future Accelerators. However, my responsibility at Abu Dhabi police GHQ as telecom division manager makes me always busy, I do have other role as a telecom committee manager for most of the events around Abu Dhabi city such as, Grand Prix Formula One event.

Currently, she is leading two national skilling initiatives The Digital Egypt Builders initiative DEBI targeting university graduates, and The Digital Egypt Cubs Initiative targeting students in schools from G7 to G11.

    She was the Former First Deputy Minister of ICT since 2006 till 2013. From 2002 till 2013, she was also the National Director of Egypt’s ICT Trust Fund, which is established to promote the use of ICT for Development.

    Dr. Baraka successfully managed the implementation of several national ICT for Development projects in Egypt and abroad in a number of crucial sectors such as education, e administration, e-health, etc. Her activities include formulating effective Public Private Partnerships, policies’ development and planning of ICT for Development, ICT projects’ implementation, monitoring and evaluation and human resources development.

    Prof. Baraka has been awarded the UNESCO King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa prize for the use of ICTs in Education, for her contribution in the development and enhancement of education in Egypt using ICT. She was one of WEF/UNESCO Partnership for Education Technical Advisory Group on Capacity development, and a former member of WEF Global Agenda Council for Technologies in Education.

    Al.Thuhli is a technology expert with 22 years of experience in information technology and space.
